Harriet Wallace-Jones and Emma Sewell founded their textile design studio after graduating from the Royal College of Art in 1990.  Working from London and Dorset, they pioneer excellence and originality in their woven designs. Known for their innovative use of color, structure and yarn, Wallace Sewell create scarves with strikingly bold, asymmetric blocks and stripes.

Emma and Harriet make their scarves in the UK, embracing the British Textile Industry for its wealth of expertise and production excellence. The process begins on handlooms in the London and Dorset studios, and the scarves are woven in a family-run mill, then washed and pressed to give the scarves a luxurious hand. 

Wallace Sewell’s silk & linen scarves have a lightweight feel from the silk with a wonderful sculptural drape created by the linen. Featuring fine subtle stripes of alternating colours which blend to create vibrant tones and finished with an elegant interchanging chequerboard pattern at each end.
