Harriet Wallace-Jones and Emma Sewell founded their textile design studio after graduating from the Royal College of Art in 1990. Working from London and Dorset, they pioneer excellence and originality in their woven designs.Known for their innovative use of color, structure and yarn, Wallace Sewell create scarves with strikingly bold, asymmetric blocks and stripes.
Emma and Harriet are proud to manufacture in the UK, embracing the British Textile Industry for its wealth of expertise and production excellence. The process begins on handlooms in the London and Dorset studios, and the scarves are woven in a family-run mill, then washed and pressed to give the scarves a luxurious hand.
Wallace Sewell’s "Bauhaus" lambswool wrap is a recreation of the Bauhaus original by legendary weaver Gunta Stolzl. It incorporates bold, asymmetric stripes in an ample wrap with a beautifully soft finish.
