Various Projects' hand-knitted alpaca birds are sure to delight the bird lovers in your life. These avian charmers are crafted by a Fair-Trade network in Bolivia.
Cardinal — Cardinals are homebodies. Most live within a mile of where they were born. The males sing to attract a mate and, unlike most northern songbirds, the females do, too. 9 1/2" long
Robin — The Robin is the early bird; they often begin their morning song even before the sun has risen. Robins use their keen eyesight to hunt for worms, as well as beetles and grasshoppers. 7" long
Blue Jay — According to the National Geographic Society, Blue Jays are “highly adaptable and intelligent birds.” They’re also excellent mimics who can imitate several hawk calls. 5 1/2" long
Mourning Dove — Mourning Doves fly fast and true. They can live as long as 30 years, and eat about 20% of their body weight daily. 8 3/4" long
