Ceramic and Copper Pendant
"Simplicity and repose are qualities that measure the true value of any work of art..." So said Frank Lloyd Wright, and who are we to argue with that notorious crank?
Anyway. We love the repose of this necklace by Elise Birnbaum. The elements: ceramic and glaze, metal and leather. The forms: simplicity itself. Austere rings of copper and stoneware. This may be a statement piece in scale, but there’s a subtlety in its refined restraint. Simplicity and repose indeed.
Copper and unglazed ceramic 1.5" pendant on a 29" leather cord.
