"Bram the Pig" by Anne-Claire Petit
Dutch designer Anne-Claire Petit studied textile design at Eindhoven, where she developed an abiding love of traditional craftsmanship. Her designs are hand-crocheted in the countryside villages of Northern China, where women have passed on their handwork traditions for generations: crocheting is part of their cultural and craft heritage. The women work at home, often together with their neighbors. They determine their own work schedule, so they can spend time with their kids and take care of the harvest.
Bram the Pig is hand-crocheted in organic cotton and is 11 inches tall.
