Earth. Fire. A human hand. These are the essential elements that, combined, can result in striking beauty, a whole greater than the sum of its parts. A process as old as civilization, but here with a decidedly modern feel.

These plates are wheel-thrown in Western Pennsylvania by Francis DeFabo, each one unique and shaped under his trained touch. They are made to be used, crafted not only to look good but to feel good — substantial and beautiful. (Fun fact: Francis used to make his living as an OB-GYN, delivering babies, before he decided to spend full time “playing with clay.”)  Strikingly original, hand-crafted plates from FD Pottery.
