The Shakers approached every task with  purpose and grace, and knitting was no exception. Known for their clean lines, honest materials, and meticulous craftsmanship, they produced garments and textiles that were as functional as they were beautifully made. 

Working with knitters in Mexico, Peru, and Bolivia, Cabbages & Kings makes adorable knitwear while transforming lives. The artisans collaborate with local NGOs and nonprofit groups to improve their communities, at the same time bringing their unique sensibilities to the design process of the knitwear. The result is knitwear that delights and has us feeling good about doing good.
